Californian
skatewear brand Vans has teamed up with Disney to produce a range of
printed footwear and clothing for spring/summer 2015.
The colourful collection begins with a six-piece line from Vans Classics, which sees images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse applied to two iterations of its signature Slip-On silhouette – both characters wearing sneakers, of course – with Donald Duck appearing on the brand’s Authentic model.
Disney’s Winnie the Pooh rocks a helmet and skateboard “made from a tree from the Hundred Acre Wood” across a second take on the Authentic, while a character collage finishes off the footwear offering, appearing on Vans’ Sk8-Hi and Era silhouettes.
Moving on to clothing, the menswear arm of the range applied the same collage print, as well as separate Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck illustrations, to a selection of T-shirts, vests, button-down shirts, backpacks, hats and socks.
This fun collection is sure to capture the hearts of Disney lovers everywhere, following on from Vans’ equally bold team-ups with Carhartt WIP and Supreme.
