American label Original Penguin has embraced the ever-growing popularity of performance wear, basing its latest collection around sport-inspired designs.
The Casual Active range – comprising polo shirts, tees, sweatshirts, outerwear and shirting – utilises technical fabrics and sportswear detailing to produce an activewear-infused finish.
To celebrate the launch of its new line, the brand has partnered up with menswear photographer and 100 Beards creator Jonathan Daniel Pryce, aka Garcon Jon, and stylist Chris Benns to produce a striking editorial of the collection in action.
Showcasing the movement and versatility of the pieces, the imagery is set against the backdrop of London’s skyline, with some of its most iconic buildings in the frame.
The new collection continues the modern evolution of the 1955-founded brand, which has released capsule lines inspired by Miami, vintage gymwear and monochrome shades in recent months.
The Original Penguin Casual Active collection is available in stores and online now, with prices starting from £30 for T-shirts.
